Oxfam calls upon craft children in Littlehampton

CREATIVE children are being called to pick up their pencil, paper, needles and thread this half-term to take part in an art display.

Charity shop Oxfam, in Bayford Road, Littlehampton, will be hosting its own, seven-day children’s art exhibition, from Saturday, right the way through until November 9.

For inspiration, the store has set up a large display of children’s art and craft books, which will be available to buy.

Youngsters wishing to enter the competition can do so by popping into the shop and picking up a registration form.

There is no set topic for entries so youngsters taking part are urged to be as imaginative and creative as possible.

Whether it be painting a portrait, knitting a special top or taking a photo – all entries will be welcomed by the charity.

All youngsters bringing an entry can choose a free book from the children’s section as a prize.

For more information about the competition, please call 01903 722399.
