1. Cheerio - five-year-old Cavapoo
Cheerio was an unclaimed stray, and arrived at the RSPCA with seven newborn puppies. She is a very sweet girl who is quite shy to begin with, but becomes very affectionate once she trusts you. Cheerio loves her food and this is a good way to make friends with her. She will need an active home and an owner who has time to put into her training. Cheerio can be quite sound sensitive so would prefer a quiet home environment. She may be able to live with another dog after successful introductions at the shelter. Photo: RSPCA

2. Floss - two-year-old Dachshund cross
The world can sometimes feel like a scary place for Floss, and she can be unsure around unfamiliar dogs and men. However, once she gets to know you and feels safe, her cheeky personality really begins to shine, according to the RSPCA. She loves playing with her toys, snuggling up on your lap, giving kisses and having a good case of the zoomies! Floss arrived at the RSPCA with her dad Bruno. The pair can be rehomed together or separately. Floss is looking for a family who understand Dachshunds and their breed traits. She needs time, patience and reassurance to help build her confidence. 3. Bruno - five-year-old Dachshund
Bruno would love a home where he can enjoy all the little things in life, from getting out and about on walks to having a cosy place to relax and spend time with his favourite people. Bruno arrived at the RSPCA with his daughter Floss. The pair can be rehomed together or separately. As with Floss, Bruno can find the world scary, and is unsure around unfamiliar dogs and men. He will need a patient and understanding home that will give him the time and space he needs to settle in, build trust and gain confidence at his own pace. Photo: RSPCA

4. Piglet - two-year-old bull breed cross
Piglet is a friendly, lovable girl who charms everyone she meets. She is very enthusiastic and loves saying 'hi' to people and giving hugs and kisses. She knows how to sit and give paw and was housetrained in her previous home. She is a typical bully breed and can be cheeky and very mouthy when playing, she would be best with a family that understands her breed and their quirks. Piglet was born blind and will need lots of help to learn about her new home, including how to navigate it safely, as well as where to sleep, eat and toilet. Her new family will have to be patient and understanding, and give the assistance and time she needs to settle. Photo: RSPCA
