5. Frubes - three-year-old French Bulldog cross
Frubes is a friendly girl who can be a little shy initially. She knows 'sit', 'down' and 'paw' and walks well on the lead. She enjoys playing, especially with a ball or football. Frubes may be able to live with another dog after successful introductions at the shelter. She has a strong chase instinct so would not be suitable with cats or small animals. She is a new arrival who is still being assessed. Photo: RSPCA

6. Mr Slippers - three-year-old Chihuahua cross
Mr Slippers is a sweet boy who is shy around new people at first. The RSPCA said it will take him a while before he is ready to enjoy fuss and attention. He would prefer a home that is not too busy, and somewhere with quieter areas to walk to begin with. He will need someone with time and patience to allow him to settle at his own pace. Mr Slippers is seeking a home with another dog, or some walking buddies, who can help him gain confidence out and about. He has not had experience with children so would prefer an adult-only home. He will also need his own, secure garden to help with housetraining. Photo: RSPCA

7. IMG_0580-scaled.jpeg
Kermit is a friendly boy who enjoys attention. He knows how to sit and walks well on the lead but would benefit from some further training. The RSPCA said he has not been walked much in his previous home. Kermit is a very new arrival who is still being assessed. Photo: RSPCA

8. Mocha - three-year-old Chihuahua cross
Mocha is a sweet, friendly boy who can be a little shy of new people at first. Mocha was not walked in his previous home so has not had a lot of life experiences but is already doing really well, according to the RSPCA. He would prefer a home that is not too busy and somewhere with quieter areas to walk to begin with. He is very affectionate once he knows you and likes to sit on your lap and have treats. Mocha may like to live with another dog who can help him gain confidence out and about or at least have some regular walking buddies. He has not had experience with children so would prefer an adult-only home. Photo: RSPCA
