900-year-old Newhaven church raises hundreds of pounds during coffee morning
A Newhaven church, which is celebrating its 900th anniversary, held a coffee morning at a nearby garden centre.
Members of St Nicholas Church are marking the milestone with a series of events in the parish throughout the year.
Paradise Park and Garden Centre hosted the church at its most recent coffee morning where visitors learnt about the church’s history and mission.
All proceeds from hot drink sales on the day were donated to the church.
More than £500 was raised on the day with a raffle organised by the church raising a further £60
