Are you considering adopting a dog?
Arundawn Dog Rescue, in Horsham, is caring for several pups who are desperate for homes of their own.
The charity focuses largely on providing rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming for strays who are sadly facing euthanasia through no fault of their own.
If you could give any of the dogs below a loving home, visit: www.arundawndogrescue.co.uk.

5. Jim - two-year-old Saluki
Jim is a dog-friendly Saluki who is ready to find his forever home. He'd be happiest living alongside another canine for confidence. He has not been tested around cats, but can live with children over the age of 10. He was very nervous on arrival and was in very poor condition, according to Arundawn. He still needs to gain some weight but is coming out of his shell, the charity said. Photo: Arundawn

6. Maggie - five-year-old Lurcher cross Collie
Maggie is a delightful and happy girl who is looking for a active home. She would love a family who enjoy walks and getting out and about. She is good with other dogs so could share a home with a friend but would be equally happy to be an only pet, according to the rescue. She cannot be rehomed with cats. Maggie is described as a 'bright and engaging dog' and is doing well in foster after being found as a stray. She loves to play and do zoomies with her canine friends. Photo: Arundawn

7. Oscar - two years old
Oscar has been a 'work in progress' since arriving at Arundawn more than a year ago. The staff say they all love him but he is 'quirky' with some fears and anxieties, and 'little in the way of social skills'. He is looking for an experienced and patient home, with no cats, small animals or children, but could live with a calm and tolerant female Lurcher or similar. Oscar has 'boundless energy' and is loving, loyal and affectionate. He would make a great companion for a patient owner. Photo: Arundawn

8. Missy - 12-year-old Staffie
Missy is a 'delightful' older lady who unfortunately found herself in kennels when she should have been settling down into her retirement years. She would prefer a home with no other dogs, as she can be wary of them, and could live with children aged above 14. She is housetrained, knows a few commands and loves her walks. She loves attention and will be an 'awesome' companion, according to Arundawn. She cannot be tested around cats. Photo: Arundawn
