Bexhill to host Ocean Symposium
An Ocean Symposium and Marine Exhibition takes place at St Peter’s Community Centre, Bexhill, on Saturday November 14.
This annual event, from 10 am to 4 pm, is co-hosted by The United Nations Association Climate and Oceans, Sussex Dolphin Project, Sussex Underwater and Community Supporters.
The theme this year is Reimagine: Beyond the World We Know, a New Relationship with our Ocean.
It will offer an opportunity to connect with fellow ocean enthusiasts and experts to discuss conservation, marine life, and the importance of protecting our oceans for future generations.
There will be talks from expert speakers, and short underwater inspirational films as well as lots of stalls. Sea and river pollution and citizen science will be high on the agenda during the day.
Local marine ecology group Strandliners will be represented.
