Crawley heatwave bin collection: 'Nothing is more important to us than the health and safety of our key workers'

Crawley council updated residents on social media that bins will be collected an hour earlier than usual due to the hot temperatures this week.

A spokesman from Biffa said:

"Nothing is more important to us than the health and safety of our key workers.

"Our collection crews in Crawley are starting work earlier than normal this week and are being encouraged to drink plenty of water."
