9. Georgia - seven years, eight months old
Gentle Georgia is the charity's longest resident having been in foster since May 2021. She has made slow and steady progress and is now very affectionate with her fosters and some of their visitors and has really started to enjoy life. Despite having selective hearing with recall, she never fails to hear a treat packet being opened and will promptly appear at your side for her share. So far, Georgia has not successfully worn a collar or lead so will need further training with this at her own pace, and a secure garden for exercise. It’s very important that her new family can offer patience and support while she settles into her new home. She can live with other dogs and calm children but cannot live with cats.
