‘Drive-in’ carol service to be staged at Ardingly showground

There will be a full outdoor stage presentation and musical performances depicting the Christmas story along with traditional Christmas carols for people to enjoy from the safety of their own car.

The event - organised by Christ Church, Haywards Heath - will offer three start times to choose from at 4pm, 6pm or 8pm

Graham Nicholls, one of the pastors at Christ Church, said: “Lockdown restrictions have been difficult for churches as it has been for the general population.

“It is great to be able to come together in this way to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ and enjoy the experience of singing together.

“Even in these dark times there is good news to share about the coming of the Son of God, the saviour of the world and what it means for us today.”
