The initial properties released include The Linnet and The Goldfinch, which are both three-bedroom homes, and the four-bedroom detached Dunlin.

Site visits are now being offered to give househunters the chance to experience Earnley Grove’s unique location and design features.

The first residents are expected to move into their new homes in late 2026.

Jake Priddle, Marketing Manager at BRICS, said: “We are delighted to be able to release the first properties at this exciting development.

“Work is progressing at pace and the first properties are taking shape. I was at the site recently and it’s clear this is going to be a special development with well-designed and delivered properties that are in-keeping with the environment.

“This is a rare opportunity to become part of a community and we have had many people register their interest, so we would expect the homes to be reserved quickly.”

Historically part of the grounds of Earnley Place, the site later became an adult residential education centre constructed in the 1950s. The building closed in recent years and was severely damaged by fire in 2019.

BRICS worked with award-winning John Pardey Architects to design the development, including undertaking a detailed study to properly understand Earnley to ensure the new homes seamlessly integrate into the local area.

The site neighbours the RSPB Medmerry nature reserve and the homes have been designed to pay homage to the area's agricultural roots, including coursed pebble walls and stylish black windows.

Founded in 2020, BRiCS is an SME housebuilder with a ‘remit of creating high quality, sustainable new communities’ in the south and south east.
