With the King’s Coronation set to take place this weekend, here’s a list of the events you should be aware of if you want to join in with the celebrations.
The historical event will bring together many Sussex residents as they celebrate the Coronation of the new King.
From Coronation Big Lunches and street parties to volunteering your time to take part in the Big Help Out, there are lots of ways to mark and celebrate the Coronation weekend.

9. Udimore community party - Monday, May 8
The Parish Council is joining with the community to celebrate the Coronation with a bouncy castle and BBQ. There is also a flower festival at the church. Photo: Google Street View
10. Pett Community Fun Day - Monday, May 8
Local businesses will come together for a day of community activities for all the family. There will be a local scavenger hunt, 'kings and queens' scarecrow competition, and a 'design a crown' competition. There will also be attractions on the recreation field including vintage vehicles, farm animals, community stalls, games, and a BBQ - followed by live music at the Royal Oak pub across the road.
