And last Wednesday, they completed the Captain Sir Tom Moore Foundation 100 Challenge, which was set by club instructor David Slade
They had been challenged to swim and tow their half-filled rescue manikins for a total of 100 lengths of The Wave Pool in Littlehampton, during their 40-minute wet training session.

The participants were Sophia Hendey, 12, who attends Littlehampton Academy, and 14-year-olds Jude Morris, of The Angmering School and Olivia Kidd, of Our Lady of Sion School in Worthing.
They also received their Royal Life Saving Society Silver Sport medals and certificates, having taken the exam in the last week before the December lockdown.
David said the waiting list for anyone wishing to join the club was short, and subject to maximum numbers allowed by The Wave, he hoped to start a new class soon.
