Police called to Ferring to clear unexploded munitions
Sussex Police officers were called to Ferring on Friday (May 19) to help clear unexploded munitions.

A spokesperson said teams were called to the area following a report of unexploded ordnance on the beach. A cordon was established as a precautionary measure while officers safely removed the item and the operation took place without incident.
