With regards to the proposed use of the HDC highways depot that is surplus to requirements in Broadbridge Heath – do we really need any of the suggested outlets?

We have already got a Homebase for DIY and garden supplies, a Carpetright, a Halfords for car and cycle requirements, a good Tesco store, Newbridge Nursery and a Co-op close by.

Would the defunct highways depot be put to a far better use as a doctor’s surgery? Although there is no money in that, I suppose.

Even affordable houses or flats, instead of using all the greenfield areas around Horsham.

And as for a drive through takeaway – the mind boggles. Imagine the litter. As if there isn’t enough in the area and along the A24 as it is, without adding to it.
