Police launch '˜urgent' hunt for missing woman who may be in Eastbourne

Police are concerned for a missing woman after a car matching the description of her vehicle was found near Beachy Head.

Sussex and Surrey Police are hunting for Michaela Pugh, 37, who vanished from Guildford.

Michaela, a Slovakian national who has been living in the UK for several years, has not been seen by family or friends since Friday afternoon (February 12).

She is described as slim, white and 5’ 4” tall with dark brown hair and brown eyes.

Police believe Michaela may have been driving a black Lexus. A vehicle matching that description has been located near Beachy Head – and officers want to locate Michaela ‘as a matter of urgency’ to ensure that she is safe and well.

Anyone who has seen Michaela or who has any information on her current whereabouts should call Surrey Police as a matter of urgency on 101, quoting reference 45160012783, or call or text the charity Missing People on 116 000.
