Eastbourne residents invited to attend final consultation for Local Plan
Eastbourne Borough Council is now on its final stage of public consultation before the Local Plan is submitted.
A spokesperson said: “Known as Regulation 19, this is the final stage of public engagement before the Local Plan is submitted to the Secretary of State for independent examination by a planning inspector. At this stage, the focus is on whether the plan is legally compliant and meets the tests of soundness set out in national planning policy. “Residents, businesses and community organisations are invited to attend a drop-in event. The session will provide an opportunity to view the plans, speak with council officers and ask questions about the consultation process and how representations can be submitted. The events will take place at Eastbourne Town Hall on: • Tuesday 3 November, 4pm to 8pm “The deadline for submitting representations has been extended to 5pm on Tuesday 1 December 2026. “To find out more and submit a representation, visit our website and search 'consultation'.”
