Minteh, Mitoma and Wieffer - Brighton injury list in full and expected return dates ahead of Liverpool
Liverpool vs Brighton in the Premier League from Anfield - Sunday, 2pm
Brighton have a number of players on the treatment table as they prepare head to Liverpool this Sunday.
The Seagulls are third in the Premier League with 16 points from seven matches and four points ahead of fifth placed Liverpool.
Albion's flying start to the season is the all more impressive as they have been without a host of key players - including flying winger Yankuba Minteh, who Liverpool tried to sign in the previous transfer window for £70m.
Minteh injured his leg in a pre-season friendly against Roma and is yet to feature this term.
So how is the Gambian and the rest of Brighton's walking wound progressing, ahead of Sunday's outing at Anfield.
Brighton injury list
Evan Ferguson - out: The Ireland international striker continues his recovery from a long ankle injury and remains some way off a return. Previously, Hurzeler was unable to provide an expected return date.
Stefanos Tzimas - out: The Greek striker suffered an ACL injury last season and remains sidelined. No set date for a return as yet but Hirzeler said he's in "good spirits."
Kaoru Mitoma - out: The Japan international is making steady progress from a hamstring injury and is hoping to return after the next international break.
Zadok Yohanna - out: The Nigerian winger is not included in the Conference League squad and remans sidelined as he builds up his fitness following his summer arrival.
Yankuba Minteh - doubt: Hurzeler stated last week that Minteh was close to being available for last Sunday’s win against Crystal Palace and has a chance of being involved this weekend
Mats Wieffer - doubt: Nearing a return from a knee injury sustained in the 4-3 loss at Chelsea earlier this season. Liverpool this Sunday could be an option. Wieffer was not included in the Conference League squad for the league stages.
Femi Azeez - doubt: Hurzeler said the deadline day arrival from Millwall is "getting closer" and could get his first minutes for the club "very soon". I have a felling this Sunday will be too soon.
Pascal Struijk - doubt: The £18m arrival from Leeds has a thigh injury and missed the win against Crystal Palace. He remains a doubt for this Sunday.
