According to plans, the ground floor of the pizzeria would stay the same.

The planning application states: “The tenant of the property needs to maximize the space and to rent the first floor which is currently unoccupied.

“The ground floor pizzaria will stay the same. We are proposing the construction of a tall block wall to separate both floors and to knock down the internal stairs.

“The stairs space after the demolition will be used as storage and is next to the kitchen.

“The access to the new converted flat will be made from the rear patio through the installation of new metal stairs. The metal stairs will be attached to the rear wall and the landing positioned on the same level as a new roof decking.

“The flat entrance will be made from the rear patio and through an alley.”
