In pictures: Skate Fest in Burgess Hill helps kick-start Jubilee weekend fun

Mid Sussex District Council’s Skate Fest was just one of the events kick-starting the Jubilee fun in Burgess Hill today (Wednesday, June 1).

The free event for all ages was held in St John's Park from 2pm to 4.30pm, overlapping with Burgess Hill Town Council’s Wowzer Wednesday (11am-3pm), which was also in the park.

Activities included: DJ workshops and music from DJ Neel; arts, games and loaned scooters and helmets from Sussex Clubs for Young People with Purple Bus; wheel-checking from Charlie's Pedals; and graffiti art activities from Jode the Graffiti artist.
