Tomorrow evening is Ninfield Bonfire Celebrations and Robertsbridge Bonfire Society is running a small coach for its members. For any availability please contact on 880977 or go in and see Sandie at the Floral Boutique or contact Sam on [email protected] seats are on first come first served basis and if there are empty seats non members can use them. £6 per head leaving the village at just before 6pm.

Thursday 17th October is the next evening for Progressive Whist at Robertsbridge Hall that starts at 7pm. All are welcome.

Robertsbridge Bonfire Society will be holding its next meeting on Thursday 17th October at Robertsbridge Club starting at 8pm. Calling all active members as now is the time that the jobs need doing to put on the event in November. If you would like to marshal on the night please go to the meeting or contact Sam on [email protected]

Robertsbridge Guides, Brownies and Rainbows are having a Jumble Sale next week on Saturday 19th October at the Church Room in Fair Lane between 10am – 12 noon. If you have any items that you would like to donate, collection can be arranged by ringing either Jane on 880619 or Jo on 880872. If you would like to help out by running a stall please ring Jane on the above number.

1st Robertsbridge Scouts Group needs your help. The group is desperately short of Adult Helpers to assist with the sections weekly meetings. The shortage of adults volunteering has resulted in long waiting lists for Beavers, Cubs and Scout sections. If you have any time and are able to give the local children and young people assistance with Scouting please contact Sheila Rogers, Group Scout Leader on 01580 880312.

Has anyone seen a blue sack barrow dumped around the area, or seen one being used. I ask because a couple of weeks ago the one that belongs to One Stop has been taken and is still missing. If you have seen it or know where it is please tell one of the members of staff.

Darts: The Club played at The Millers Arms and lost the singles darts 4-3 for the second week with victories for Dan Smith, Richard Hawthorne and Michael Stone while Dan and Richard won the Mens Pairs 1-0. There were 100+ scores for Richard(140, 100 x 4), Dan(140), Guy Ballard(115), Dave Goodsell(113) and Justin Hardy(100). We lost pushpenny 5-0 but Dave Fortsch scored three ‘goldwatches’. Tonight we are away to Mountfield Club ‘A’ at 8p.m.

Ladies Darts: On Monday[14th] we are at home to The Bear at 8p.m.
