Sainsburys happyafter MP meeting
SAINSBURYS have said their House of Commons meeting with MP Amber Rudd last week was ‘positive’.
Regional development executive for the supermarket giants Max Whitehand said: “We found the meeting helpful.
“We are encouraged that Network Rail is prepared to consider improvements to the Ferry Road crossing that would satisfy planning conditions but not make our scheme unviable.
“We are also very happy to hear that Tesco is willing to conclude our property negotiations at the earliest possible time.”
