Sainsbury’s in Rustington to be opened next week

A NEW superstore on the outskirts of Rustington will be opening next week.

Sainsbury’s, at the Rustington Retail Park, in New Road, will be throwing open its doors to customers at the new, state-of-the-art shop, from 9am on Wednesday, October 30.

Work started on the replacement store in March this year, after the old store was demolished.

Shop manager Darren Carpenter said: “I think customers will really notice the difference and appreciate the improvements.”

The development has created 178 new jobs, many of them taken by people living in the local area.
