School competition to help promote ‘Spirit of Christmas’

SCHOOL children from the Vale First and Middle School are set to compete against one another to design a Christmas poster for a community event.

The school, based in Findon Valley, is working alongside the Findon Valley Residents Association to help promote the ‘Spirit of Christmas’ ‑ an event taking place along King’s Parade, Findon Valley, on December 6, from 5pm – 7.30pm, which will include entertainers and charity stalls. Last year’s event raised £2500 for Chestnut Tree House.

Martin Garratt, head teacher of the school, said: “We are very happy to continue supporting the FVRA in all that they do for the community and the businesses in Findon Valley.”
