School's delighted to collect IT equipment

Sisters Ellie and Hannah Hendrick provided some double delight at a Bognor Regis store.

The seven-year-olds from Bishop Tufnell CoE Infant School were the first twins to take part in the event.

It has been held annually at Tesco to celebrate its computers for schools initiative where shoppers receive vouchers which can be used by schools to order IT goods.

Five schools are invited each year to the Shripney Road store to receive a selection of equipment which they can use to improve their lessons with technology.

Bognor Regis and Littlehampton MP Nick Gibb was on hand to meet Ellie and Hannah and two representatives from both South Bersted CoE Primary School and The Glade Infant School who also made it to this year's event.

They were Roseanne Stevens and Sam Pidduck from South Bersted and The Glade's Holly Stanton and Matthew Fox.

Two of the schools received a microscope each and the third collected a JVC camcorder.
