Teen cut from wreckage following Findon crash

A TEENAGER was cut from the wreckage of her car after she crashed into a telegraph pole in Long Furlong near Findon at 12.36 this morning.

The 18-year-old woman was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton with a serious head injury after firefighters from Worthing used electric cutting equipment to rescue her.

The woman from Billingshurst was driving her red Peugeot 207 north along the A280 Long Furlong, near Findon when it left the road and collided with a telephone pole.

There was nobody else in the car.
