A section of Cricketfield Road in Horsham is set to close during the daytime for seven days, while electrical connection works are carried out.

West Sussex County Council has given notice of a proposed temporary closure outside No. 8 Cricketfield Road.

The order is due to come into operation on November 2, 2026, with work expected to start on or after that date and take place between 8am and 6pm daily for seven days.

The council said the closure is necessary to protect public safety while the electrical connection works are undertaken.

The notice, dated October 15, directs anyone with questions about the works to Sunbelt Rentals on 0370 050 0792.

Queries about the effect of the closure on road users should be directed to West Sussex County Council’s contact centre on 01243 642105.
