Busy road in Crawley to close overnight for road repairs
Balcombe Road in Crawley will be closed overnight for several days, while carriageway patching work is carried out.
The road will be closed between 8pm and 6am from Monday, July 27, until Friday, July 31.
The closure affects the B2036 Balcombe Road, from the M23 south to High Street, at Turners Hill roundabout.
West Sussex Highways said an alternative route will be signed on site, with delays likely. Its social media post read: “Please be advised that Balcombe Road, Crawley, will be closed from 8pm to 6am 27 to 31 July to carry out carriageway patching work.”
The works are being carried out as part of planned highway repair and maintenance works.
