Eastbourne road works completed for 'smoother and safer' driving
East Sussex Highways have announced roadworks on two roads in Eastbourne have been completed.
A spokesperson said: “Smoother, safer roads in Eastbourne
“We’ve recently completed resurfacing works on Marshall Road and Willingdon Drove, #Eastbourne.
“Together, the works have delivered smoother, refreshed road surfaces and improvements to help make journeys safer for everyone using these routes.
“On Willingdon Drove, we also carried out drainage improvements to tackle occasional flooding in the area, alongside refreshing the road markings.
“Over on Marshall Road, we made the most of the works taking place to go a little further, refreshing the nearby junction markings at Loverose Way too.
“We’ve got some final work to complete around one of the gullies on Marshall Road, and we’ll be back soon to do this.
“Overall, two successful schemes and some great improvements for the local area.”
