Lane closed on M23 following report of car fire

There has been a report that a lane has been closed on the M23 this evening (Monday, July 27) following a car fire.
AA Traffic News first reported the problem at 4.30pm.
The alert on the live map said: “One lane closed and very slow traffic due to car fire on M23 Northbound from J9 (Gatwick Airport) to J7 (M25 Interchange).”
