Three-way temporary traffic lights to be installed in Arundel
Three-way temporary traffic lights will be installed in Arundel amid works to provide more electric vehicle (EV) charging facilities.
Works to install electrical infrastructure needed to facilitate public EV charging will begin at Crown Yard car park on September 9, according to Arun District Council (ADC).
The authority said the works will last for ‘up to six days’.
An ADC spokesperson said: “While the work is carried out by the contactors, some parking bays will be temporarily unavailable and three-way traffic management will be in place on River Road, next to the car park.

"Every effort will be made to minimise disruption and complete the work as quickly as possible.
“Once operational, the new charging points will provid e more public EV charging facilities in the district, making it easier for residents, businesses and visitors to charge their vehicles and support the move towards lower-emission travel.
“Thank you for your patience while these improvements are carried out. We appreciate that the temporary loss of parking spaces and traffic management may cause some inconvenience, but once complete, the new charging points will provide a valuable benefit for electric vehicle drivers in Arundel.”
