TRIBUTES TO TRAGIC CHRIS

He was found dead at home in Coldharbour Road, Lower Dicker on Sunday last week.

Police are not treating his death as suspicious.

No details of the cause of have been released.

The tributes read:

Christopher Gray has been our closest neighbour, along with his parents and

sister, for the last four and a half years.

He was a charming, kind,

intelligent and relaxed boy, adored by his parents and, as has become

apparent, by so many others.

Our deepest sympathies to his family.

I don't know if Chris had any idea how many people's lives he touched, but I

think if he could see us all now, he would feel proud of the fact that he

meant so much to so many people.

Chris Gray will never leave us, he will still be very much alive in our

memories and our hearts forever.

Chris,

I'll never forget that time you went to see Athlete and left before the end

because you didn't realise they would come back on stage. Made me laugh so

much when I told you about it the day after. A great memory and I always

laugh when I think about it.

I know we weren't really close friends but you were still a good

friend, made me laugh whenever I talked to you and I will never forget you.

When I left Ringmer you said 'See ya at college!'

I wish that could still

happen.

Your death has changed many peoples lives and I wish you were still with us

to see the impact you have had on people. Miss you Chris and love you

forever! Goodbye.

Everyone at Ringmer Community College knew you in some way, and they all knew you as the smiling, friendly, cheerful fellow who would somehow already be there if you were feeling down.

If only there was someone else as helpful as you at this time.

I didn't know this young man but my daughter new of him. I was very sad to learn of his death and my thoughts go to his family and friends.
