VIDEO: Mayor in a Minute

WORTHING mayor Bob Smytherman has launched his brand-new weekly video blog, in which he hopes to inform readers of what life is like in his year of office – in just one minute (Monday, October 14).

While Adur chairman Mike Mendoza has a weekly column in the Shoreham Herald, Mr Smytherman felt it was more in-line with his ambition to be a ‘multimedia mayor’ to have a weekly video column.

The video will be a chance for him to highlight some of the many engagements he attends, and increase awareness of various causes.

He will have just 60 seconds in which to do so.

In his second video, Bob talks about last week’s Adur and Worthing Business Awards, including an inspirational woman who climbed Mount Kilimanjaro for charity, among other highlights.
