Brighton & Hove Albion v Manchester City: Likely line-ups for Premier League clash

Pep Guardiola's side need to beat Brighton to lift the title. If they fail to win, Liverpool will be crowned champions if they claim all three points at home to Wolves.

Brighton are already safe from relegation and produced a spirited performance in their 1-1 draw at Arsenal last weekend.

City go into the game on the back of 13 successive Premier League wins, while Brighton have drawn three of their last four matches.

Manchester City beat Brighton 2-0 at the Etihad earlier this season and also defeated Albion 1-0 in the semi-finals of the FA Cup last month.

BRIGHTON & HOVE ALBION

Brighton winger Jose Izquierdo and midfielder Davy Propper will both miss the game.

Seagulls boss Chris Hughton is unlikely to make too many changes from Sunday's 1-1 draw at Arsenal.

Goalkeeper Mathew Ryan and the back four of Bruno, his last appearance for the club before retiring, Shane Duffy, Lewis Dunk and Bernardo will likely remain the same.

Dale Stephens, Yves Bissouma and Pascal Gross are set to keep their places in the middle of midfield. Solly March starred on the left wing at Arsenal and is expected to start, while Anthony Knockaert could come in for Alireza Jahanbakhsh on the other wing.

Glenn Murray is likely to lead the line, with Florin Andone on the bench.

Likely line-up: Ryan; Bruno, Duffy, Dunk, Bernardo; Knockaert, Stephens, Bissouma, Gross, March; Murray. Subs (from): Button, Montoya, Bong, Burn, Balogun, Kayal, Propper, Locadia, Jahanbakhsh, Andone.

MANCHESTER CITY

Kevin de Bruyne has been back in training this week and could return to the side but Fernandinho has been ruled out.

Pep Guardiola is unlikely to make many changes from Monday's 1-0 win over Leicester when Vincent Kompany scored a stunning winner.

Young midfielder Phil Foden is most likely to drop out of the starting line-up from Monday. His place could be taken by De Bruyne if fit or Leroy Sane.

Likely line-up: Ederson; Walker, Kompany, Laporte, Zinchenko; Gundogan, D.Silva, De Bruyne; B.Silva, Aguero, Sterling. Subs (from): Muric, Danilo, Stones, Otamendi, Foden, Sane, Mahrez, Jesus, Delph.
