Countless chances including a missed Neal Maupay penalty were wasted by the hosts, with the side now having only scored once in their last seven appearances and not seen a goal at The Amex since mid-January.
On the other hand, Norwich stopped the rot of their six game losing streak by hanging onto a point at the AMEX.
Dean Smith’s side kept out Brighton, some part of their own and some by Brighton’s complete wastefulness in a tough backs to the wall performance.
Here are the player ratings - Brighton by Sonny Turner, Norwich City by Sonny Turner.
13. Joel Veltman- 8
A good block inside the area to stop a goal-bound Milot Rashica effort was his best defensive contribution, in a game in which he was defensively sound, winning the fan’s man of the match.
14. Jeremy Sarmiento- N/A
Came on with just minutes to play and was unable to impose himself on the game.
15. Tim Krul-8
Incredible stop from Veltman’s point blank header was best save of the match. Beat away MacAllister’s effort in injury time. Well in Maupay’s head for penalty miss.
16. Sam Byram 6
Gave the penalty away by ridiculously slapping the ball off Maupay’s head. Threw himself in front of March’s cross, had a long day dealing with March and Cucurella.
