Countless chances including a missed Neal Maupay penalty were wasted by the hosts, with the side now having only scored once in their last seven appearances and not seen a goal at The Amex since mid-January.
On the other hand, Norwich stopped the rot of their six game losing streak by hanging onto a point at the AMEX.
Dean Smith’s side kept out Brighton, some part of their own and some by Brighton’s complete wastefulness in a tough backs to the wall performance.
Here are the player ratings - Brighton by Sonny Turner, Norwich City by Sonny Turner.
17. Ben Gibson 8
Vitally headed corner off Dunk’s head in the first half. Blocked goal-bound effort from corner and was brave throughout.
18. Grant Hanley 8
The most experienced man in the building showed. Great last-ditch tackle on Maupay. Commanding presence, heading countless balls away.
19. Dimitris Giannoulis 7
Beaten by Lamptey on occasions, lucky not to be booked trying to bring him down. Tracked forward runs off him really well.
20. Pierre Lees-Melou 5
Clumsy foul on Gross led to dangerous Brighton free-kick. Couldn’t pass wind and failed to get meaningfully on the ball. Subbed off.
