Graham Potter's men have six points from their first eight Premier League matches of the new campaign. There have been some encouraging signs but the problem has been converting the chances they are creating.
Ben White and Adam Lallana have been integrated in the team this season and summer arrival Danny Welbeck also made his first start of the campaign just before the international break in the 0-0 stalemate with Burnley.
Brighton will resume after the break away at Aston Villa on November 21 and then they welcome Liverpool to the Amex on November 28.

5. Adam Webster 6/10
A reliable presence in the Albion rearguard and now looks an experienced Premier League campaigner after a few shaky moments last season. Good defensively and a threat in the opponent's box on set pieces. Comfortable enough on the ball but needs to improve distribution.

6. Joel Veltman 7/10
Slotted into the team with ease during the absence of Lewis Dunk. Graham Potter now faces a big decision: Does Dunk return straight into the team after Veltman performed so well? The Dutch international is very good on the ball and always seems to be the right position. At 900k, a very good signing for Brighton

7. Dan Burn 6/10
Once again the 6ft 7in defender has proved his value to the team and has featured at centre back, left back and left wing back. Provides good balance to the defence especially when Lamptey is bombing forward on the other side.

8. Tariq Lamptey 9/10
Brighton have a serious talent on their hands and whoever sealed the deal from Chelsea must be patting themselves on the back ever since. A delight to watch in defence and attack and plays with a refreshing style. Scored his first goal against Spurs and Potter seems to be the right manager to get the most from this talent.
