Brighton dominated possession but for the first time this season Albion failed to register on the scoresheet.
Danny Welbeck led the line for Brighton as he made his first start for the club following his summer arrival.
Welbeck had the best two chances in the match in the first half and he also teed-up Tariq Lamptey for a good chance in the first minute.
Maty Ryan was also back in the team after he was dropped for the Spurs match as was Neal Maupay who partnered Welbeck up front.

1. Maty Ryan 6/10
A very dodgy moment in the opening minutes when Lowton's cross/shot caught him out and smacked the bar. Burnley tested him on corners and Ryan just about coped.
2. Tariq Lamptey 7/10
Missed a golden chance in the opening seconds when he sidefooted over. Always a threat and linked well with Pascal Gross. One effort in the second half well blocked by Taylor
3. Adam Webster 6/10
Solid defensively and close with a second half header that looped just over
4. Joel Veltman 7/10
Very impressed with Veltman. Always seems to be in the right place and the Dutch international rarely gives the ball away. Replaced by Jahanbakhsh on 81 minutes
