Brighton dominated possession but for the first time this season Albion failed to register on the scoresheet.
Danny Welbeck led the line for Brighton as he made his first start for the club following his summer arrival.
Welbeck had the best two chances in the match in the first half and he also teed-up Tariq Lamptey for a good chance in the first minute.
Maty Ryan was also back in the team after he was dropped for the Spurs match as was Neal Maupay who partnered Welbeck up front.

5. Dan Burn 6/10
Played at left wing back in place of the injured March. Did his job well and fired one decent effort just wide when he neatly chested down and fizzed a half volley into the side netting. Some nice crosses into the box too.

6. Ben White 6/10
Dropped back int the defence having played the last two matches in midfield. Gave the ball away too easily at times in the first half. Improved as the match progressed and wasn't despite the twin physical threat of Barnes and Woods

7. Yves Bissouma 6/10
A disciplined performance. Always ready to break up Burnley attacks and kept his passing simple but accurate when in possession

8. Pascal Gross 7/10
Linked the attack well in the first half and the German is starting to find his best form. Great back-heel in the first half during a swift counter attack with Lamptey.
