Connolly, 21, is back to full fitness following a hamstring injury sustained in the 3-3 draw against Wolves earlier this month.
Connolly was an unused substitute in the 0-0 stalemate against fellow strugglers Fulham in midweek but is pushing for a starting place against Spurs.
The Ireland international is one of the few players to offer genuine pace in the Albion line-up and has good memories against Spurs, having scored a brace against them in a 3-0 triumph last season.
Tariq Lamptey (hamstring) and Danny Welbeck (knee) remain sidelined and Adam Lallana (groin) will be assessed.

5. Joel Veltman
The Dutch intentional defender has proved a reliable figure in the Brighton squad and will likely to be at right wing back today as he continues to fill in for the injured Lamptey

6. Yves Bissouma
Has been excellent for Albion this season and looking forward to his midfield battle with Spurs' Tanguy Ndombele

7. Alexis Mac Allister
The Argentina international is currently enjoying his best moment of his Brighton career. Looks fit, works hard for the team and always forward thinking and creative.

8. Pascal Gross
The German covers plenty of ground in midfield and offers a threat at set pieces. Could get the nod ahead of Trossard, Propper and Alzate
