Connolly, 21, is back to full fitness following a hamstring injury sustained in the 3-3 draw against Wolves earlier this month.
Connolly was an unused substitute in the 0-0 stalemate against fellow strugglers Fulham in midweek but is pushing for a starting place against Spurs.
The Ireland international is one of the few players to offer genuine pace in the Albion line-up and has good memories against Spurs, having scored a brace against them in a 3-0 triumph last season.
Tariq Lamptey (hamstring) and Danny Welbeck (knee) remain sidelined and Adam Lallana (groin) will be assessed.

9. Solly March
Provides balance on the left and Brighton will be looking to get him into more attacking areas for this one. Had a good season so far and provides good delivery and a goal threat

10. Aaron Connolly
Fit again and could start ahead of Trossard. One of the few players in this Brighton squad with genuine pace to trouble the Spurs rearguard. Scored a brace against Tottenham last season at the Amex

11. Neal Maupay
Missed a couple of chances against Fulham but Albion's leading scorer played very well overall. Will be determined to add to his seven goal tally against Spurs
