Brighton starting XI vs Getafe explained as Jaouen Hadjam and Malick Yalcouye decision made
Uefa Conference League: Getafe vs Brighton from the Estadio Coliseum - Thursday, 8pm
Brighton boss Fabian Hurzeler has thrown in a few curve balls for his starting XI to face Getafe.
Hurzeler has made five changes to the team that won 1-0 at Manchester City in the Premier League last Saturday.
Jaouen Hadjam, Michael Svoboda, Malick Yalcouye, Jack Hinshelwood and Georginio Rutter all come in while Luka Vuskovic, Diego Gomez, Maxim De Cuyper and Charalampos Kostoulas drop to the bench, with Madrid born midfielder Chema Andres rested.
Bart Verbruggen, Costinha, Lewis Dunk, Olivier Boscagli. Pascal Gross and Yasin Ayari maintain their starting spots.
It's quite the effort ftom Gross and Boscagli this season as they have started all 16 matches in all competitions so far this term.
So, how will Albion line? Here's my best guess at the formation.
Brighton XI explained
Verbruggen - who was excellent at Manchester City - is between the sticks, obviously with Costinha starting once again at right back.
Dunk and Svoboda will make up the centre back pairing at the Estadio Coliseum, with Boscagli at left full back.
Gross and Ayrai go once again as the midfield pairing with Hinshelwood set for his preferred No 10 role.
I also expect to see Yalcouye in the right wing position and Hadjam playing a more advanced role on the left. Georginio will lead the attack.
