The Worthing-born midfielder has been named alongside some of the world’s best youngsters in this year’s GOAL NXGN top 50.
The annual NXGN list highlights the 50 most incredible prospects to have been born after January 1, 2005.
Hinshelwood has made quite the impact this season. The versatile teenager has scored three goals in 12 Premier League appearances – including a superb effort in Albion’s 4-1 demolition of fierce rivals Crystal Palace at the Amex in February – but faces a stint on the sidelines after suffering a stress fracture in his foot.
But who else has made this list of the game’s brightest stars of the future?
The top 50 includes talents from across European football’s biggest clubs – including FC Barcelona, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Manchester United.
You can view the top 50 in full in the gallery below.

9. Archie Gray - Leeds United
Archie Gray has become an ever-present at Leeds United under Daniel Farke. The England youth captain has showcased his versatility, starting the season in midfield before reverting to right-back. He is the son of former Barnsley, Bradford City and Nottingham Forest midfielder Andy Gray. Archie is also the grandson of Frank Gray, and the great nephew of Eddie Gray, all of whom played for Leeds and represented Scotland at international level. Photo: George Wood/Getty Images

10. Julien Duranville - Borussia Dortmund
Julien Duranville became the second-youngest scorer in Anderlecht’s history - behind Romelu Lukaku - when he netted in the 2-2 draw with OH Leuven in September 2022. The Belgian did enough to impress German giants Borussia Dortmund, who paid £7m to bring him to North Rhine-Westphalia in January 2023. Duranville made a handful of first-team appearances last season for Dortmund, but injuries have scuppered his progress this campaign. Photo: Christof Koepsel/Getty Images
