Brighton have already signed three players this transfer window and it was very much in-keeping with their recent policy of signing talented youngster from around the globe with the plan of developing them into established Premier League players at the club. Argentina wonder-kid Facundo Buonanotte arrived for around £9m from Rosario Central, Sweden international Yasin Ayari, 19, joined for just under £6m from AIK and young Ireland striker Mark O'Mahony signed from Cork City. Belgian attacker Leo Trossard left earlier this window for Arsenal in a £22m deal with add-ons. Losing Trossard is a blow for head coach Roberto De Zerbi but the recent form of Japan international Kaoru Mitoma has helped to soften the blow. The main talking point however has been the saga of Moises Caicedo who stated he wanted to leave and Albion were forced to turn down huge bids from Arsenal and Chelsea. Caicedo will now stay until the summer at least and help Albion push for European qualification starting with Bournemouth this Saturday.
Fans however remain keen for Albion to bring in a player or two before deadline and here’s nine players at the top of the list...

1. Alex Oxlade Chamberlain
The Liverpool man is out of contract at Anfield this summer and there was talk of a free transfer to Brighton this window. The former Southampton man could be tempted back to the south coast and follow teammate who Adam Lallana who moved from Liverpool to the Amex. One for the summer maybe. Photo: Andrew Powell

2. Vitor Vitinha Oliveira
The Braga striker is high on the list of many Albion fans and has been linked with a deadline day move to the Amex. Southampton remain favourites to land the 22-year-old who is rated at around £30m Photo: LAURIE DIEFFEMBACQ

3. Mykola Matvienko
Albion have been looking for an established left sided defender since Dan Burn left last year. RDZ knows Matvienko well from their time at Shakhtar Donetsk. Photo: JAVIER SORIANO

4. Conor Gallagher
The Chelsea man is in high demand with Newcastle and Everton the latest clubs to express an interest. The England man would certainly be a classy addition but wages and fee would likely be a stumbling block Photo: Mike Hewitt
