Brighton have already signed three players this transfer window and it was very much in-keeping with their recent policy of signing talented youngster from around the globe with the plan of developing them into established Premier League players at the club. Argentina wonder-kid Facundo Buonanotte arrived for around £9m from Rosario Central, Sweden international Yasin Ayari, 19, joined for just under £6m from AIK and young Ireland striker Mark O'Mahony signed from Cork City. Belgian attacker Leo Trossard left earlier this window for Arsenal in a £22m deal with add-ons. Losing Trossard is a blow for head coach Roberto De Zerbi but the recent form of Japan international Kaoru Mitoma has helped to soften the blow. The main talking point however has been the saga of Moises Caicedo who stated he wanted to leave and Albion were forced to turn down huge bids from Arsenal and Chelsea. Caicedo will now stay until the summer at least and help Albion push for European qualification starting with Bournemouth this Saturday.
Fans however remain keen for Albion to bring in a player or two before deadline and here’s nine players at the top of the list...
