'Not convincing' - Chris Sutton predicts four-goal Brighton thriller as he picks winner against Liverpool
Liverpool vs Brighton and Hove Albion on the Premier League from Anfield - Sunday, 2pm
Brighton have rarely travelled to Liverpool with such confidence.
The Seagulls are third in the Premier League with 16 point from seven matches and are the division's top scorers with 23 goals so far.
Brighton are four points ahead of fifth placed Liverpool and another positive result could increase talk of a surprise push for the title.
It is of course early days but Albion's flying start will give them a huge confidence boost ahead of their Anfield test.
Their goalscoring run did come to an end in the Czech Republic on Thursday as they played out a 0-0 Conference League stalemate at Jablonec.
Reds recovery
Liverpool, in contrast, enjoyed a 4-3 Champions League win on Tuesday night against Villarreal, who are 12th in La Liga.
The Reds have had an extra two nights to rest and recover but Hurzeler is expected to make numerous changes to the starting XI at Jablonec and the team will likely be very close to the one that walloped Crystal Palace 5-0 at the Amex Stadium last Sunday.
There could even be a possible return for Liverpool transfer target Yankuba Minteh, who is yet to feature this term due to a leg injury.
Liverpool tried to sign the Gambian in the previous window and had bids of £60m and £70m rejected by Brighton.
The Seagulls will be a stern test for Liverpool and BBC pundit Chris Sutton feels as though Hurzeler's men will have too much attacking threat for Andoni Iraola's men
Sutton unconvinced by Liverpool
Sutton wrote, "Liverpool have an extra 48 hours to prepare for this game - they played Villarreal at home on Tuesday, while Brighton are away in the Czech Republic on Thursday.
"I don't think it will make any difference, though, because the way that the Seagulls play, I am expecting them to go to Anfield and win.
"This has the makings of a great game but, while Liverpool have had a couple of good results, I am still not convinced by them.
"Andoni Iraola's side are a work in progress with a tendency to empty their midfield and that means Brighton can hurt them."
Sutton's prediction: 1-3
