The Magpies currently sit ninth in the Southern League Premier Division South, which is Step 3 and three divisions below League Two.

With Reds currently sitting bottom, Wimborne will sense a cup shock and Blackwell is fully aware of that. “It's good we're away from home, it’s non-league, it's live on TV because they expect a shock, so let's make it quite clear this is going to be a tough game,” he said.

"I will be driving that home in training this week we'll take nothing for granted we have to earn the right whether it's here, at Old Trafford or non-league, earn the right and that's what we're trying to do.”

It’s still unclear how long Blackwell will be in charge at the Broadfield Stadium with the search for a new permanent boss ongoing. But the former Leeds United boss made his intentions clear.

"I will treat this job as if I'm going to be here for 100 years,” he said.

“I have a pride that I want to do well at every club I've ever been at.”
