A six point gap and a higher goal difference with two games to go means it’s very unlikely Crawley can be caught now.

Just a point at home to struggling Walsall on Saturday will make us mathematically safe.

All the players played a blinder in the north east, and the relief and euphoria at full time between players and fans was there for all to see.
