As well as Baitup’s quadruple, Bailo Camara also netted as Eastbourne United cruised to a 5-0 success.

Wick boss Richard Towers felt a lacklustre first 20 minutes ultimately let his side down and said: “We conceded three goals in the first 20 minutes and it was always going to be tough from that point.

“To be honest, we were a yard off the pace and it was a real struggle.”

Camara fired United ahead after just 45 seconds.

It was the Baitup show from then on and he netted on eight and 20 minutes to give his side a 3-0 half-time lead.

Baitup then completed his hat-trick five minutes into the second half, before he rounded off the scoring three minutes from time.

A bad day for Wick got worse as striker Dan Simmonds was forced to play in goal for the final 20 minutes following an injury to Billy Nash.
