Peacehaven and Telscombe secure a point against Deal

From the whistle Deal were all over Peacehaven forcing them to defend deep, but on 11 minutes Ptfc's Lewis Beebee went on a run passing a few players and putting the ball passed the outstretched hand of Deal’s keeper James Tonkin. Minutes later Beebee could have made it two but after chipping the on-rushing keeper the ball just went over the bar. Deal pilled on the pressure and on 33 minutes Deal’s Ben Chapman put the ball in the back of the net to make it 1-1 at half-time. With the second half underway it was Deal on the backfoot as Peacehaven pushed forward and had chance after chance but Deal held fast and 1-1 was the final score.
