Jack Bennett will line-up in the Butterfly Schools’ Invitation International at Lilleshall National Sports Centre from June 24-26.

Polegate-based Jack, a pupil at Willingdon Community School, will play for the England under-14 team alongside Helshan Weerasinghe (Kent), Tyrone Wells (Middlesex) and Marcus Giles (Surrey).

The 14-year-old is following in the footsteps of younger brother Joshua, who also competed for England Schools earlier this year in the British Primary Schools International.

Jack finished in a respectable 11th place at the recent Cadet Masters in Derby after achieving a few good wins, including one over the higher ranked Eddie Freeman, in an event which brings together the country’s top 14 players.
